How to Create a Template

Here’s how to set up your first template in Wazy:

1. Open the Wazy extension in your browser.

2. Click the Templates icon at the top.

   

3. Hit the “+” button to start a new template.

   

4. Write your message and drop in variables to keep it personal! For example:

   • {{display_name}} → the name saved in your contact list.

   • {{whatsapp_name}} → the name shown on their WhatsApp profile.

     

5. If you'd like to include a file, just keep these guidelines in mind to ensure everything works smoothly:

   • Each file is under 20MB.
   • You attach no more than 5 files per template.

How to Send a Template

Sending a template is just as easy:

1. Open the WhatsApp chat where you want to send your message.

2. Click on the Templates icon in the sidebar.

3. Select the template you want to use.

   

4. Give it a quick edit if needed. You can personalize the message before sending it to make it feel more genuine.

   

5. You can also assign a tab so that the chat gets automatically sorted after the message is sent.
